CLASSES

  • five modules, each with 6 classes

  • are on a Saturday (usually), every 4-6 weeks. There’s a lot of information which takes time to process.

  • run from 10am – 5pm with arrival by 9:45am to connect and settle in.

  • are sequential. If you miss a class you’ll need to make it up with a private lesson for an additional $300.

  • are usually small which allows for plenty of discussion time.

 

LOCATION

  • either a private room in a restaurant or in a private home.

  • When classes are held in a restaurant, you need to buy your own lunch and beverages. (no brown-bagging)

  • When classes are held in a private home, you need to bring your lunch. Coffee and tea are provided by the host.

 

FACILITATORS

  • As well as repeating classes multiple times, facilitators have participated in over 60 individual coaching sessions to ensure they have the knowledge and facilitating skills required.

 

BREAKS

  • There are frequent short breaks throughout the day and lunch is generally about 40 minutes.

 

MATERIALS

  • You bring pens and paper. We recommend you put your notes and handouts into protective plastic sheets in a binder.

 

HOMEWORK

  • After most classes there are articles to read or suggestions for further reading sent via email.

  • After each module there’s a quiz. These are great fun and will be reviewed at the start of the next class, allowing all questions to be answered.

  • Homework takes between 1.5-3.5 hours for each class.

  • Many students find it helpful to do the quiz the day or two after class and then re-read the module just before the next class.

 

ORDINATIONS

  • The Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry (CIMM) in Vernon BC www.canadianmetaphysicalministry.com qualifies graduates to become ordained as metaphysical ministers. This is a great opportunity for those who have a calling to serve in this particular way legally in Canada. Graduates do not NEED to become ordained.

 

FEES

  • $1,800 per module. Save $300 by paying before the due date. There is no sliding scale.

  • Payments are made by cash, PayPal, e-transfers or check.

 

MISC

  • We ask that cell phones be turned off, (ideally kept in the car), and not at your side or in your pocket. Studies show that people’s attention span is greater when the cell phone is not within arm’s reach. No laptops or tablets during class.

  • The most important thing to bring to class is an open mind and willingness to think through the information presented.

  • Sharing of personal experiences is encouraged, as we foster safety, confidentiality and trust.

 

HOMEWORK?

  • After most of the classes there are emails with attached articles to read or suggestions for further reading.

  • You will receive after each module part a quiz of 1-3 pages. Those are great fun and allow you to review the presented materials and to cover any remaining questions at the beginning of the next class.

Depending on how fast you read and how new the material is as well as your individual learning abilities this will take between 1.5-3.5 hours between each class. Many students find it helpful to do this in the day or two after class as well as re-reading the information just before the next class.
